November/December 09 Updates

Welcome to our November/December Artist Update – everything you need to know about the worldwide SONOR artist family!

CHRISTOPH SCHNEIDER and RAMMSTEIN are touring Europe with an energetic and explosive tour (everybody that attended a show previously knows what I’m talking about!) – check out the tourdates on www.rammstein.com.
As posted earlier, Christoph got a brandnew SQ2 series kit consisting of 2x 24x19” Bass Drums, 14x13” Tom Tom, 20x15” Gong Tom, 16x15” Floor Tom, 18x17” Floor Tom – all made out of Medium Maple shells, as well as a 12x5” Snare Drum with Heavy Birch shell. His kit is entirely wrapped with our new “Red Tribal” finish that we introduced this year. The main snare drum that he uses live is our 14x6” Artist Series Bell Bronze model.
For the recording of the new album “Liebe ist für alle da” Christoph used Delite Drums (Vintage Maple Shells).
Check out the Making of Videos of “Pussy”, the first single outtake – and notice what his band mates have to say about Christoph’s drumming AND his new drums!!

MIKE MARSH and DASHBOARD CONFESSIONAL are still touring the US until mid of December and it was recently announced that they will support Bon Jovi on their next US run from February to April in 2010! Even though lots of the dates are already sold out, you might still be able to get your hands on a ticket: www.pollstar.com/resultsArtist.aspx.

DANNY CAREY (TOOL) is announced to play the Guitar Center’s “Drum Off” Grand Final event January 8, 2010 that will take place at the Wiltern Club (3790 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90010). Tickets for the show are $10 - more information: www.tickets.livenation.com.

BENNY GREB just returned from his US clinic tour back home to Germany safely. The tour was simply a huge success with so many interested people showing up – just for example the 600 people in Salt Lake City. Big Thanks to everybody that showed up during the tour!! Stay tuned for more!
